Hello Friends, Fans and Supporters,
My One person show, The Westerbork Serenade, will play in Holland this November.
After more than a decade of performing and developing this piece, I shall bring the story of Transit Camp Westerbork home to where it actually took place more than 60 years ago.
This trip is a chance to complete the cycle of my work on this project, and to share the story and artistry of those performers who’s lives were destroyed by the Holocaust.
for details see my blog:
http://westerborkserenade.blogspot.com
*There will be a benefit performance on October 13Th at the Odd Duck Studio in Seattle *
*ALSO: We could use technical support:
someone to help with sound and or lights in the Netherlands-as well as running interference for me.
I don’t have much money, but you can stay with me there and there is a possibility of some help with a plane ticket.
Thanks for your interest,
sincerely,
David

I have two students who have been excellent SM’s while at Seattle U, where I teach. THey both just graduated, and are hanging around looking for adventure. If you’d like, I could pass on their contact info to you.

Everybody, I believe that I’m the best candidate to go with David on this as I’ve lived two years previously in The Netherlands and have been the board op for two versions of this production and have experience touring. I do need help raising the funds and am open to ideas and assistance.
